Thanks man!
Yeah I picked this setup because I wanted 4 things in my design:
1. I wanted to be able to add boost, switch around air intake setups and designs, change turbos, basically do anything I want to the engine WITHOUT having to completly rip out the fuel system for an upgrade or a changeover. The extra injectors will be able to adapt to any situation I can make for my car. The JWT ECU cannot do this.
2. Tuning. I wanted my extra fuel to be referenced by BOTH manifold air pressure (boost), as well as RPM range. The S-AFC uses only RPM range. Also, the tuning process with this is a little simpler, because you are DIRECTLY adding fuel from another injector, no +34% this and that etc. With constant pressure, I will be able to add exactly the amount that I need, when I need it.
3. Timing. I wanted to be able to have an adaptive control on timing that I can mess around with when I need to. The JWT ECU's timing options does not offer this. You could use the BTM as well as the AFC but the AFC doesnt offer some things I want (see above)
4. Idling. With this setup, off boost peformance will be completely normal, as everything else in the fuel managment is completely stock. Basically, I am ONLY changing things when boost is on. When boost is off, the stock injectors will be controlled by the stock ECU at stock pressure: I should have zero problems whatsoever.
