Hey everybody. I have a update on my wheel situation. I have got my rota subzeros sold I think. So I had a set of wheels picked out. But it looks like a month or so wait. So I kinda need some new wheels now.I was just crusing on ebay and found a set of wheels that I always loved. They are the konig villains.Been discontinued for a while. The set is 18x8 and 18x9.I emailed the guy to ask about the offset. I was just wanting to make sure the 18x8 would be ok in the front with a prokit and gr2 struts? Would I need to roll the fender any? I mean the prokit isn't that much of a drop? Also they look to have a good amount of backspacing betweent he spoke and the hub mount.Does anyone have any experience with this wheel?

More than likely a high offset wheel, hopefully the fronts will be good.

so you went from one cheap-high offset wheel to another cheap high offset wheel???

...

not a good move man. shoulda kept the cash,s aved a bit and gotten(as everyone else has) fn-01Rc, or other comprable correct offset wheel for the car...

I hope the front offset is in the 25-ish range...but I know konig..and I know it wont be.-chet

I have a problem with being patient. There have only been a few wheels that I really liked. And the villains are one of the few. I don't really want to wait 1-3 months for new wheels to arrive. Why can't volk or 5zigen keep the hot stuff in stock? The only 5zigen I like is the proracer. But I'd have to wait like a month+ for the fronts to get in stock. And If I was gonna have to wait for some wheels, then I'd go with the gramlight 57c gold

you know, jspec being what it is, aside from their new wheels, a lot of the "OMG JDM" wheels they bring in have suck offset.

For the sake of argument,I know the 240 needs something with a lower offset. But offset doesn't always mean everything. Example, a guy puts a set of black racing pro n1 wheel which I happen to also love in the bronze on a s14 kouki. His size is 17x8 +38 and 17x9 +38,they look great on his car IMO. I would definatley roll them, but I can't find a set for a decent price.I tried wheel max. They said they were discontinued. But anyhow check out the linkhttp://forums.freshalloy.com/u...&vc=1

I found one place that still had the stagger in stock, but they wanted $1200 for just the wheels. He said he could do a package for $1640 including 235/45/17 and 255/40/17 sumitomo htr z II tires. Is that too much? I also found a guy on ebay selling the 5zigen fn 01rc stagger 17 hyper black for $750 new shipped. But I really like the Villains. So could I get a yes or no on the fit on a 18x8 +40 in the front with prokit and kyb gr2? will they rub? S14

Ok I have made a decision. Now I just need to choose a color. The guy on ebay has the 5zigen FN-01RC in stock in both the bronze and the hyper black. This is the same wheel structure240 has on his ride. I have a metallic green car so I was leaning towards the bronze. Anyone else have any input on the color choice?
