What up Nico fam! I'm new to the forum and I haven't had a lot of time to create my profile (a toddler and 3 month old...nuff said). I have a 2011 M37S (silver) and I'm getting the stock rims powdercoated matte black tomorrow. Honestly, I'm a little nervous about how it will look. Does anybody else have pics of their car with matte black powder coated rims?

Im seen rims at a local shop that does powder coating.in matte black.it comes out good if you like that look.ii personally dont.looks dull and boring.pretty much like going to the junk yard and buying steelies spare rims and driving on them like honda guys do.but its all about what the owner likes.not what others like.thats my two cents

I would consider getting them re-done in "black chrome'. At least that way, they don't look like you lost your rims and are riding on regular spare wheels.

I would start with plastidip first since it's easy to remove if you do not like the look or want a change.

Here is the final result of the power coating! I think it came out pretty good!

You need to delete the "?dl=0" from your imgae URL to make it work. For now we can see it HERE. They look good! :dblthumb:

Pics are not working. I tried some magic to get them to work but no dice.

I'm going to paint them red or blue. Going to try something different!
