getting rid of DRL

hey, first time posting on a forum, i hv a 1990 300z, i just installed HID lights, im a licenced tech so the install is good, my problem comes when i fire up the car, one of the lights flickers because the DRL is trying to turn on and going to wreck the ballast, looked around for any relays or fuses for DRL couldnt find anything, was wondering if anyone has come across the same problem or if anyone knows how to disable DRL on this car or if there is a module somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thx.

What brand HID did you get? Usually the cheap ones flicker and the ballast is the normal cause.

i got beamers, they r a good brand, im 100% sure its just the drl trying to fire up, but not enough voltage to constantly power the hid. do u know if there is a module for the drl, and where it is?
