getting rid of door chime/bell

has anyone gotten rid of their door chime bell thingy?? its driving me crazy, im always working on my car with the door open and i cant stand it anymore. is there a fuse i can pull?? any simple solutions?? thanks

i want to do the same thing im gona let it chime while i look for the chimer and cut the dam wire or im gona go INSANE!!!!!!i know how you feel

That chime is not controlled by itself on one fuse, in other words, the fuse that powers it also powers other aspects of the dash. You'll have to find the wire that feeds it power and cut or disconnect it. Don't know where it is though.

its under the dash. left side by the fuse box. i found mine by sticking my head down there while it was going on.

basically right next to the front of the driver's side door...put ur hand out and feel the wires there u can actually feel it move when the ding sounds...there a clip that it's in and u just have to pull it...i did it like an hour ago....i'm trying to fix my dig speedo (not going so good)

so its right by the fusebox?? or actually under the dash??

the dinger (lol....dinger....am i allowed to say that?) is literally right below and to the left of the fusebox...it's just a clip, pull and viola....no dinging

I'm trying to get my chime to work. I've already replaced all the fuses in my car and my chime still does not work. Any other ideas on what to check would be appreciated.
