Why are you trying to get out of the lease in the first place? Just curious!

I'd say the best way is to find someone that is willing to pick up the lease and just sign it over to them...

You'll likely lose the down payment no matter how you go about it.

How long have you had the vehicle?

Do a to try and find a decent answer...it is not a good idea...but if you cant afford it then talk to the leasing company. They would rather work with a customer (maybe extend the years to lower payments) rather than go through other option of taking the car back which will screw up your credit.

Welcome to NICO.

I don't mean to be rude, but you really should have thought this through before you made 20k commitment.

Is there anything specific about the car that you don't like? Maybe we have answers that will help you out.

Sorry to hear that you're not happy. I still need to go look at at 335i. Maybe this weekend. I'm pretty loyal to Nissan/Infiniti since they've been in my family for over 25 years and not one of them has ever let us down.

yikes...probably not the best answer to post on a forum that pretty much hates bimmers.

What can I say...leasing a car is never a good idea.

Sorry to hear about how you feel about a G-37. Infiniti or Nissan do not make refined cars. Their cars are raw and unforgiving. If you had a g-35 Coupe 6MT, I am sure you will have given the car back after 2 weeks---it rattles and makes all kinds of noises--your nerves would be shot. I love Infinitis because they are unrefined. A sports car should never be refined. I want to hear the road noise and engine growl. I am sorry you want something more subdued and refined. I guess to each his own.

In fact, each time i have driven in a refined car, I have come close to having an auto accident because the refined nature of the car lulls me to sleep or denies me the ability to fully appreciate the external dangers in my environment, while i drive. I just don't do well in refined cars. They irk me.

And most of all, and I am sure you will miss this, Infiniti and Nissan engines and transmissions (especially manual transmissions), are extremely reliable. Everything else may fall apart but their engine and transmissions live almost forever, provided good maintenance policies are adopted.

I find that the G37 has little things that bother me.... for example:

-- Everytime i put my hand on the knob to change music the emergency blinkers come on...-- My right elbow in always opening the middle case compartment.

Some others....

Dont get me wrong its a well made vechicle i just miss a BMW.

Im only paying $453 a month with 15K miles a year for a 2 year lease....

If anyone is interested.

That's a matter of opinion. If the car in question was a G35 coupe, I would agree. But not when it's a G37.

Before ordering my G37S, I test drove four Porsches (two Caymans and two 911s), a second generation Audi TT, two 3 series BMWs (325ix and 328Ci) and two G35 6MT coupes (2004 and 2005). Tire noise was very intrusive and annoying in all of the Porsches. Because of the short wheel base, they all pitched badly on bumps. Engine noise was also objectionable with the Caymans. The TT was generally better, but not impressive. The 325ix had a sweet sounding engine, but short, hard seats and a choppy ride. The 328Ci, which did not have the sport package, felt more like a luxury car than a sports coupe. The G35s were an acceptable compromise, but needed additional development.

The G37 is more refined (quieter and rides better) than the Porsches and G35s. It is more of a sports coupe (faster and handles better) than the TT and the BMWs. It is an all round car. It works as a daily driver to go to work, bring home groceries and drive across the country. Yet, it is elegant enough to look good any place and in any company. It also performs well enough to compete in open road events like the Sand Hills Challenge in Nebraska and Silver State Classic in Nevada.

I totally agree...the g35 coupe and the g37 coupe are two differently inspired cars....IMO they refined the car too much for my likings....

They put a black cloud over all BMW's on the road.I've driven several BMW's I would own, but I would feel like an a$$ driving one.

That has to be the longest test drive in history. You know that you can talk to the car to get it to do pretty much anything electronic, radio, HVAC, nav, phone. There really is not much of a need to mess with the 10 or so buttons near the screen. The center console opening may be resolved by either adjusting your seat or arm. Good luck with the lease, you will loose money but if you dislike your G37 that much maybe its worth it.

You know the sqeeks and rattles can be fixed. If you let me know whats making noise i can tell you how to quiet them. It should not make noise inside the car, unless you have sh*t inside your door pockets. The engine and exhaust make noise but there should not be much else. Tire noise however can be changed and is not necessarily a thing you have to just live with.
