Alright guys, so im finally getting rid of the high offset rims and am doin a lil upgrading. But i have a few questions about rims/suspension. I know this is the wrong section of the forum, but there are more active users here!

First off, i want to run 18x9.5's with 35offset in the rear, and 18x8.5s with 35offset in the front, Would this stickout in either the front or the rear? What do u reccoment for tire sizes?

If it does, could i just run negative camber (i love the look anyways), and what would i need to be able to run negative camber on my car?

Thanks! sorry, im new to suspesion stuff!Tony

First off, you have no need to worry about that setup sticking out. Youll be luck to even clear coilovers up front, and you will definately need spacers to be flush.

Id say run a 10mm spacer up front and either a 5 or 10mm in the rear.

For tires, you could run a few setups.(F) 225/45/17(R) 245/40/17or(F) 235/40/17(R) 255/40/17

To dial in negative camber, youll need adjustable pillowball mounts up front and adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms (RUCA's for short) out back.

I assume you meant

(F) 225/45/18(R) 245/40/18or(F) 235/40/18(R) 255/40/18

because he is running 18 inch wheels lol, wouldnt want tires for 17 inch.

You will definately not clear coilovers in the front. Not even close. I have 16 x 7.5 + 32 with 225/50R16 and I only have about 3 mm between the coil and the tire. It is definately a tight squeeze. The fronts will probably stick out of the fender a bit. Mine do a little, but it is partly due to the fact that my tire is pretty fat for the width I am running.

how about for a s14? Will 18x8.5 +35 in front and 18x9.5 +35 in rear require spacers? I hear that the fronts especially rub on the stock struts. Negative camber will help the wheel/ tire fit in the wheel well nicer tho right?sorry didnt want to take over your thread..thanks
