Getting my S14 SR swap... couple questions...

I'm finally getting my SR swap done as soon as my buddy lets me borrow his car for a coupld days. My question is this: I have a 97 240 and I'm getting the S14 SR swap. The guy doing the swap says he's gonna use a Kouki S14 engine with a Zenki harness and ECU. Shouldn't he be using a Kouki harness and ECU since my car is a Kouki and the gauge clusters are different? Or does it not matter?

the JDM harness is not a plug and play any way, it must be rewired and most people can not do the newer harness....or the engine set was not complete.
