If you dont have Nissan change your oil and have proof does it lower your trade in value?

And if I did it myself I read that you should switch to synthetic blend then to synthetic. True? False? What oil is best?

I've never heard of switching first to blend and then to synthetic...

I went to synthetic at around 10,000 miles. Mobil1.

First oil changed i used dinosaur oil. Second i switched to a blend, my 3rd oil change is about 1000 miles away. I will be going full synthetic.

I dont think it would make a huge difference if you went full synthetic right away. I just wanted to make the transition slower.

No, it does not lower your trade in value, if your Nissan dealer tries to pull that crap, call bull sh*t and go to another one
