Getting My First SE-R Any Tips?

Hello all,

I am new to this form and to being a car lover (prior SUV road hog). Anyways, I am getting a 2008 Sentra SE-R tomorrow and was wondering if there are any tips or advise I could use. My SE-R is going to be full optioned (- tints & body trim) with everything that I could get. It was a hard find. I do want to add tints- is it just as easy at any other car? or are there adjustments? I might be a gal, but I have tinted a window or two (or four) in my day. Where are the best sites for accessories? What do most of you guys/gals add on? You love your sentra? are there things you changed ASAP? Hook a gal up!

We haven't had many problems crop up thus far with the 07+ Sentras. Tinting should be no sweat. There is a slowly growing library of parts to look into. Check out the B16 Parts Thread in the Table of Contents linked in my signature for more info.

We have a solid group of 07+ owners who will no doubt drop in with their 2 cents.

Ditch that pig and ask for an Altima. Similar weight with better on everything else, including quicker upgrade to V6 later. (if you want to swap V6)

I love my SE-R, dont let anyone try to sway you. We get more for the buck then an altima, and better gas mileage.

There are currently few aftermarket parts, but mods are not few and far between. We have a header on the way, saw the prototype today, We had intakes, exhaust work, head work, piston options, Brake options and lowering kits as well. Plus much more made by individuals such as myself, and Rako, etc.

As for tint, its the same for every car.

Also if you really wanna know about modding your car msg me, ill point you in the right direction.

Dont sweat the Altima comment. I love my SE R! Especially considering Ive yet to notice another one in my smaller town. Altimas are so common around here.Enjoy being unique.
