hey, I'm not trying to be nosey or anything, but it looks like quite a few of the members of these boards are in the auto industry(technicians, mechanics, part dealers, tuner shops, or whatever) I was just wondering how you guys got into doing what you do (aprentice, school,....)

like I said, dont mean to be nosey just thought i'd ask

I am also interested. I really am leaning towards apprentice ship. I dont much like school, hard work isnt a problem, but school, something about it irks me. Also my school grades arent to great, so getting funds for college is harder. And apprenticeships, if you do good on the test then you are all good.

I was in the web design industry for a few years, designing strictly car related websites or software. Then I started learning from them how they did business, and where they got the parts. And then i setup my own :)

UTI is a private school though right? They get pretty expensive right? I wish I can make cars a career, but it looks like its going to have to be a hobby for me...
