Hi,

My 2008 G37's Nav system is failing. It spins around, jumps 1/4 mile, gives bad navigation paths, etc. This started about 2 months ago and the dealer said the error code indicates that the AV unit must be replaced. The parts have now been on order for 2 months and they have no ETA to getting the replacement. One service writer guessed 7-10 months!

I find this unacceptable for a car that was 2 months old and had 2,000 miles at the time of the failure. The dealer's service department is not willing to do anything to elevate this issue. Who can I contact at Nissan to get this issue elevated.

As far as I am concerned they should take one of the dozens of cars they cannot sell and remove the unit from that vehicle.

have you called corporate INFINITI and talked to them about your circumstance?

maybe a different dealer as well? this situation sounds completely unacceptable

(although to be fair, nav is not a blocker, as in the car is still safe functional etc)
