Okay, editing after reading this;

why are you guys setting the lag time correction to the actual lag values?
Depending on what power fc it is, the lag correction should be the stock lag value minus the new injector latency.
So for instance, mine is a s13 redtop, so the stock latency is 0.67 and my Nismo's are 0.66
So the correction would be -.01

I dont actually set the lag correction to 0.66

Did I set my latency wrong?

I went overkill and bought injectors rated at 1kcc@43 psi. Well, after getting them tested its more like 1200cc @ 43.

Now the real problem. I can't get these damn things lean enough at idle! I had them tested for latency etc. so all that is dialed in perfect. I am worried about scaling them down too much in the PFC and getting to where I can't add enough fuel back in on the top end.

The ONLY thing I can think to do that may help a bit is to drop my fuel pressure a few pounds. I know it can effect the spray pattern but I know a guy who runs similar injectors at around 39 psi line off.

What say ye'?

Thanks guys!

I am a bit confused, and it seems I definitely did the latency correction improperly. Anyone up for a little spoon feedin'?

Thanks!

its going to be hard with any ems to get 1200cc injectors to idle 'lean', the duty cycle just isnt there with that amount of fuel.
best to get the injectors lag tested and use that actual lag time rather than the shoddy math that apexi reccomends...

I know what the latency time is, that isn't a problem.

The thing that is a bit cornfusing is that the manual for the PFC shows a guy taking the new number minus the old number and entering the "difference" into the lag time box on the PFC. Now what I am not 100% confident of is whether or not me just typing in the latency values that I got when i had them tested is adding my new value + the stock value.

Ill keep reading, Ill get to the bottom of this. I guess the confusion is how the pfc deals with it.

Okay this answers my question, I screwed it up.
