Getting close to trade in my EX35.

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Noooo!!! Don't do it!!! We'll no longer be seeing your posts, along with the stories and drama associated with your EX.

Good luck, and please stop back in here every so often even if the deal goes through :) .

Aww but I was just getting ready to pick your brain regarding the uprev tune. Well, at least you're staying in the Infiniti family. Best of luck on the search....the G37x in white is pretty darn nice!

P.S. if you plan on selling your strut bar, I'LL TAKE IT!!!! :bigthumb:

I will check you guys out if you are behaving badly. =)

I will be selling my Uprev soon if interested. It is a Tuners version which cost $750 with cable nowadays.
I might sell it soon for cheap.

You can always ask me about Uprev.

I just found a nice 2013 G37x moonlight white black interior with 23,500 miles for $26,000.

Car is almost flawless, no dents except tires has dry rott. NON CPO Infiniti dealership. I will get extended warranty from Courtney. (price includes remounting of my snow tires and mounting in to the G37 stock wheels. I have that gunmetal rims for summer with new Continental tires) - White car with gunmetal rims? What do you guys think? ;)

Dealer's final offer (The Gen. Manager is off that day)

Our trade in 2008 EX35 AWD (bluebook value $14k-13.5k trade in)

G37x Sedan = $26,000. (NAVI/Premium/AWD)
No money down
trade in $13,500
Interest 2.99%
60 months

= monthly payment for 60 months of $242.39 out the door.

I told them see if I can wait for the Gen. manager if he could lower it down to $220

*********
BTW, 3 months ago I was at the same dealership and saw a 2012 G37x price was $25,650.

The general manager gave me $14,000 for trade in
and $220 a month for 60months non CPO or $250 with CPO wrap (worth $1,200)

I told them how come they could not go down to $220 this time almost the same price of the last car I was looking for.... I walked away last March bec. wife was not ready for it. (She does not like wheat color interior.)

Waiting tomorrow for the Gen. manager what to offer.

Is the price high for this car?

I think they can still lower down $1000 or $25,000

Ok, dealer txted me and here is the last offer.

2013 G37x Sedan 23,189 Miles Navi/Premium/AWD
Moonlight white $26,004

0 down
1.74% interest 60 months
$236.14 monthly
With EX35 trade
Non CPO (i will buy it from Courtney before 34k miles)

Unmount my EX35 snow tires and mount it to the G37x for free...

Sounds reasonable?

There are 2 Moonlight white in Illinois about 70miles away with 27k and 28k same package for $25,689 to $25,890 CPO.

GUY said no dents and very clean both 1 owner non smoker. Should I check these first although miles is a bit high?

Print the ad for the other two and take it to the dealer you mentioned above. Ask them if you can bring the price down to atleast the middle of those two or match the highest one, and that you will take right then and there. that's how I got my wife EX, they went to the website themselves to confirm my story and the sales manager approved it, I got it for $600 less than asking price. They always have wiggle room to negotiate, dealers never loose anyways. Good luck.

Thanks C.los for the tip. I finally told them I pass on this specific car. It could have been perfect!

Never trust carfax when looking at cars to buy. Good thing I paid $45 Autocheck.com 30days unlimited VIN# check. Car has 1 accident fender bender report that does not show up on Carfax report... They almost had me paying full asking price on a car that has tainted history. Their asking price (which is their final price) is more expensive than a comparable car that I check online with very clean History report.

I am heading to Illinois this Saturday to check a bunch of G37x sedan. I prefer white color this time but it is hard to come by, so maybe stick one more time to Silver. My EX35 is my 4th silver car in a row.

I will soon! Car is a Base Q40 AWD (it has heated seat, heated side view mirrors, backup camera , bluetooth connection, homelink rearview mirror. I guess these are all I need.
I just want the car to be fun to drive that has AWD capability. No sunroof also which I do not use. None Bose , Poineer speakers on the EX35 is better. I might change that someday to Poineer.

Still working on tints and film protection.
Thinking of keeping the car after 39months and worth $19,300 after. I got the car for $29,800 which comparable to $3200-3300 True value cost online.
So I am not sure if I have to put film potection now or not. If I do not keep the car after the lease it just a waste of money, but what if I decided to keep it.

At 40 months I am back to paying it for around $300+
or maybe lease again which only will cost me another $10k with full warranty again. Plus car is black and I might develop OCD soon. My first and last black car was a 1995 Honda Civic EX coupe. Darn cant decide....

I did ask some performance shop how much for the labor to change to lowering spring and he said $400 plus the 4 springs... I will pass that for now.
Rear has 2" space and front possibly close to 3" .
It does not look that bad at the current state and I think it is safer for undercarriage during winter.

BTW, that Goodyear RS tires seem pretty solid on turns... I heard it is bad , but I kindda like it. Makes the EX35 ride a bit firm. I put the 225/55/17 G rims and tire to the EX.
