So you all know my vert was murdered a little awhile ago and I miss her terribly. While I have internet, I'm trying to track down a new one, and I'd really appreciate some help from NICO. I'm a little torn as to whether I want a Z32, a coupe, a TTZ32 if I can find a well priced one, or the good ole vert. I think deep down I just want the vert again.

Stock or souped, as long as it is in good shape cosmetically, I'm happy. I have the stereo and subwoofer from the old vert, so I can get someone to install those without too much trouble. It's basically gonna be my DD. I'd prefer pearl red or black, but I'm open to any color as long as it's in good shape. Price is no object, not with the pending lawsuit from the accident.

I tracked down a couple on autotrader, with one beauty way up in Ohio and some within a hundred miles that I'll have to inspect myself. So if anyone knows of an nice verts within a manageable distance from 18427, I'd mucho appreciate it!!

Mmm, yeah. But I think I'm just in love with S13 verts.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...st=87

I found that, and while money is no object, I'm still hesitant to spend that much on an ancient car. And all the TTZ32s I see are always like $15k+ is that normal?

wowzers, that's ridiculous pricing.

For that much, go buy a used 350z , you can find those as low as 15-17k.

Exactly! I think I may do just that. Maybe I'll go all out and get myself a GTR for my bday if I get more than the minimum projected $75k

There's a black SR20DET powered vert within reasonable driving distance of me, the guy's asking $5k. It has a couple minor body flaws, but otherwise seems like a decent deal.

You should consider getting that maroon low mileage vert that's being sold here on NICO. Just ship it up from FL, should cost about 800 or so to ship.

Every TT Z32 I've seen is way overpriced.

Where is this FL Vert? Dial up makes surfing a bit tedious...

Anywho, I'm really liking this lil guy, just worried about rust.

Rust isn't a big problem in florida. there's no snow so theirs no salt. have the guy send you some pics of under the car. that thing is really clean i hope you get it. i'm not a fan of z32's..

Glad to see your back

i'm going to suggest making sure you spend your money wisely. put a bunch of that money away if you don't need it for medical bills and attorney fees. for whatever amount you're going to use to replace your vert. definitely get a pristine, rust free, southern car.

Hey man, I'm glad you're getting back into the game. Since money is no object, I would suggest looking into another car though. If you still want the open top motoring experience, I would go for a Honda S2000. It is a better car than the 240sx vert in every way except it doesn't have back seats (240sx rear seats are useless anyways). Used ones are pretty reasonably priced too.

Sure, if you want something cheap, the 240sx cannot be beat.

in every way, except that its not a 240sx vert for some people a car grows on them and then its hard to leave it. my dad told me to go buy a 1995 coupe becuase it has airbags and therefore cheaper insurance. and then he told me "plus its newer and updated! dont you want a newer updated car?" I replied "dad, the 95 may be newer, but its not a 240sx convertible." so yea, some people just love the car for the car, not the price

I'm working on it. When I do you guys will be the first to know. My loan went through, though, so I have $6k to spend on a new car, with $500 left over to ship it to me.

Me and my mom just took it for a ride. She drove cause I'm still a cripple, and she scared the **** out of me. I would've cried if I lost my new vert the same day I got it

5k for 65000 miles in excellent condition with five speed swap and KYB struts? I don't care, I think I got a good deal. Stock KA btw. It's plenty for me, I'm not a horsey addict.

Verts in with that mileage and in that condition sell for $5k completely stock. I almost bought the car, for chrissakes.

So, does the antenna work?

No, but I'm a freaking expert on that subject I had to work on my old one's so much. It'll be no trouble. I'll probably end up taking it out, apart, down, back in, then just unplug it like I did the last one. Thankfully, most of the cosmetic stuff wrong with this one is the stuff that was fine with the old one. One major thing I noticed is that half of the handle on the driver's side top latch is broken. No clue how to replace that one.
