I found such an incredible deal on a G37X that even being a semi-audiophile, I bit the bullet and got it even though it is Journey trim with heated seats, moonroofm etc, but no Premium stereo, ipod interface or bluetooth.

I researched and found there is an aftermarket interface for the ipod that still displays information on the screen so no biggie there.

You can also add bluetooth obviously, I suppose you don't get to see caller id info on the stock screen or use a stock button to initiate a call.

Then there's the stereo. It isn't as good as my 10-speaker Bose in my Volvo S60R but when I plugged my iphone in via the RCA jacks it actually didn't sound as bad as I thought it would.

Can anyone who has upgraded the stock standard Bose stereo on the 07-10 G without replacing or adding a head unit give advice as to best bang for the buck. Supposedly for about $500 I could do a subwoofer and then just turn down the bass on the stock system. But what about getting criper highs (aside from using the iPod EQ and tone adjustment on the stereo). Are there any 2ohm replacement speakers (I assume you need to use 2ohm or else you will lose volume) that are even worth replacing the stock speakers with?

Thanks much for any advice!
