Getting an s15 or any other japanese car in the states. Anyone know of any good retailers?Basically anything that must be done. ANY information would be helpful. I want to get an s15...

there are many ways to get one here.Problem is in if you get pulled over in it here...Vin's don't match up, and there is no emissions equipment on the vehicle...

but yes, it can be done.look at Motorex.com for an idea of price.

No emissions equipment? What? They have emissions..

And Motorex doesn't import anything but Skylines. Daunttless would be a better person to talk to about importing Japanese cars.

typically the emissions equipment (cats) have been removed on cars that are imported.

And Adam isn't the only one importing cars...We recently sold an S15 with full Nismo Aero package.

There is no legal way to drive an S15 or any Silvia on US streets.... PERIOD. But... you can drive a "Kit" car... hint hint wink wink :D

shop addy is 909 minturn in Austin.we'll be relocating finally to the new houston location shortly, but haven't finished details on that yet.

The S15 wasn't sold by the shop, so if you're thinking of getting us into some kind of trouble your out of luck. The car was legalised in Los Angeles by the same corporation that Motorex uses (they're actually a division of motorex).

yea, couldnt u just say it was a kit car or something, im sure theres someway to work that whole deal without geting busted, and also, those prices are for hte IMPORTION only?? or include the actual price of hte car as well?
