Getting an exhaust!

Hi guys! I just order one of those knockoff fireball exhaust off ebay. I plan on putting on 2.5 inch pipping. Would a test pipe be okay? Would it increase power or reduce power? Thanks.

Test pipes might help slightly on a turbo setup, but NA engines need some backpressure to run at there full potential.

guspeed, do u have s13 or s14? i'm thinking about getting stock piping for my car, I'm tired of it being so loud and ****ty.

good lord. if yu're gonna do it the cheap way, just don't buy anything. get good known quality products. just like Apex'i N1 Dual Exhaust. It's worth the money. Yes, it is your car and you could do whatever you like to it. Whatever you style may be - but if you're looking for performance, you're not gonna find performance in a knock-off from ebay that is cheap.
