I have a 2010 Nissan Altima 4 door sedan and I want to get a Yakima roof rack for it. I see they have bars as long as 70" and they advertise as many as 6 bike capacity. However, I can't find out what the weight limit of my car's roof is.

Does anybody know what the max weight is for the roof, or a general idea? I'm going to be carrying bikes mostly, so I'm not sure if crosswinds would play into that number too.

Load capacity is 165 lbs on the Nissan Altima sedan. The actual maximum load capacity will depend on the exact model roof rack, as it can vary from as little as 95 lbs up to the full 165 lbs. If it's not spelled out on their website then you should contact Yakima for the correct information.
