yup lots of noticeable issues. when i hit any hills or did any driving with the air conditioner on (over 55mph), my RPMs would surge up to about 5k and my speed would slowly decrease. if i let of the gas it was all over on a hill. when the transmission started doing all this nonsense, it would also make a noise kinda like i was running a super charger. it was a really high pitched scream, that would have sounded awesome on a belt driven, super charged 67 cammaro, but on my 4 banger ac... i knew there was a fatal error.
the dealership ended up denying that i had issues about 4 times, it is all about what tech you take it to. FYI it was not a new transmission that they put in, it was a reconditioned one from the factory. the tech said that they took the noisy trannys out, sent them to nissan, they reconditioned the noisy ones and put em back in people rides who experience the same issues.
all and all, im happy. my car feels way more responsive when i hit the throttle. i didnt notice it, but my car had started to shake a bit before i had the transmission replaced, now it is an air ride again.
the only thing... my passenger window doesnt work right, now.
i know that when you disconnect the battery, you lose all your presets and settings, so i was programming the windows to function in auto mode and then all of a sudden my passenger window would not roll down. it will go about an inch and then it is stuck. when i turn the car off, back on and dont try to program it into auto function, it works fine. i called my local dealer and he said it was a programming issue. im taking it back in tomorrow to resolve this issue.
