The audio system is made by BOSE. Unfortunately neither Nissan nor BOSE publish specs for this system. One member even tried to contact BOSE a few years ago and they refused to provide any specs!
I understand it's a decent audio system, but it doesn't have much for adjustment (EQ settings, etc.). The system uses an outboard amp (located in the cargo area under the floor) for all speakers. The sub sits inside the spare tire. It's not a big honking 12-15" unit... just a single small driver in a ported inclosure, so don't expect earth moving bass.
True audiophiles or those who want thumping bass would probably be disappointed.
I had just bought a new set of winter steel wheels and tires for my Altima, 215/60R/16s, and wanted to know if it would be possible to use them on the Rogue.
The steel wheels from the Altima are a perfect fit for the Rogue. I have been using them every winter for the past 3 years. However the 215/60R16's tires are far too small (The stock Rogue tire size is 215/70R16). I would
NOT recommend using the Altima sized tires as it could cause issues with the ABS, AWD and stability system (VDC).
My suggestion? Keep the rims. Put your old tires up for sale in the classifieds and buy new ones in the correct size.
I dont really care about the leather seats. I have a dog that rides some times, so I actually think that might be a bad thing.
As a dog owner myself, the stock cloth seats in the Rogue are horrible for trapping dog hair. It's a woven fabric and the hairs seem to work themselves into weave making removal very difficult. Leather by comparison would be far easier to clean.
There are lots of seat covers for pets. I use one myself.

You can also try to see if an automotive upholstery shop can make you a protective seat cover.
Anyone know if the USB port for the stereo works with USB drives?
Yes. Read the owners manual here:

Also, if it supports BT stereo streaming from Android phones (HTC Sensation) that would be perfect.
I am unsure if this is supported. I know it has direct iPod connectivity.
How good is the NAV unit compared to a nice high end Garmin? I have one with lifetime map updates, and am thinking it might not be worth getting rid of, but I would like to not have the wires running around for it.
Nissan NAV units have a decent interface. The map data is provided by NAVTEQ (the same data Garmin uses). However, there is no lifetime updates and the map data is not updated frequently (every 1-2 years).
IMHO a standalone Garmin or TomTom NAV is still better than any factory installed NAV. I wouldn't get rid of your Garmin, keep it is a backup or use it in another car.
