You lucky SOB. Mine was 12mm low after 3k miles and I didn't get the new engineSentientbydesign wrote:I just took my coupe in for it's second 1000 mile oil check and they said that it was 12mm low (although half a quart supposedly brought it back to level).
Anyways, they have an engine on order for me and are going to be installing it after my drift event.
My friend Tony at the dealership mentioned that I might want to slap on some headers since they'll have the engine out. Any other ideas? My budget is pretty small, but I'd still like to consider the options.

I'm trying to stay around or below $200, but I might end up with cheap garbage that needs to be replaced in 6 months. I kind of wish I jumped on those Borlas that were on ebay last month.
I'm letting the university handle my retirement. I should probably have one of their financial advisers do something with the money, but I'm going to let it be until I get a clue.
El-cheapo ebay headers scare me
Yeah, that's my thoughts. I'll have to talk to my friend at the dealership to see what he can get me and for what price. I've got 2 weeks to make up my mind.telcoman wrote:

Tony, said that there was a quality control issue with one of the seals on the rev-up motors. I guess there is one new part number that fixes the consumption issue.SVTCOBRA wrote:

My old 58 didn't use oil either. Did I mention that it would never start on rainy days? Most FORDS don't use oil because they hardly runSVTCOBRA wrote:
