As I'm preparing to get my License at the end of this month and a real job after that, I've been wondering if there's anything that I can do to get my KA to rev more freely. It seems very restricted and somewhat laggy. Also is there anything I can do to add more power easily without boost aside from an exhaust, which I already have? I'm not looking for anything high just really more than stock. I have a KA24DE btw.

1st thing you need to do:

GET ON THE GROUP BUY FOR LIGHTWEIGHT ACCESSORY PULLEYS! we need more people!

Do a tune up.plugs, cap, rotor, wires, o2 sensor, tps sensoroil change with some red line oil.

intake.

Replace your engine driven clutch fan with electric fans.

lighten the drivetrain with light weight driveshaft and wheels.

You dont have an automatic do you? if so swap that out.

If it feels almost like it is constipated then your Cat converter i sprobibly getting pluged up.

As for more get up and go without turbo you may want to consider a K&N intake. I hav enot done it so find somebody who has and get their opinion.

lighten up the rotational weight.

lighter drive-shaft, lighter flywheel, UD pulley, lighter wheels, electric fans etc....

your not producing hp this way, just gaining what was lost from the heavy components.

What is this group buy for pulleys? I might look into it... I'm thinking of doing a tune up when I get a bit of extra time and going through all of the basics. And Hell No, I do not drive and automatic lol. 5-Speed FTEW

How would I clean my Cat out? Or would it need to be replaced. It functions fine atm but I think I'm gonna put in a test pipe soon.

What's a good weight for a lighter flywheel? I've seen some that say they're lightened but, I'm not entirely sure what weight is considered lightened, because technically .001lbs lighter is a lightened flywheel and some d-bags will try to sell them as performance parts.
