hey im new to Nico and also a new maxima owner. Ive been researching and talking to many people about where to start upgrading my current maxima (2003 se) I think the first step in increasing the cars performance would be adding a cold air intake (Nissan Maxima | 3.5L V6 | Polished Cold Air Intake 03-Up ), so my question is what advice do you guys have? what should be my next performance upgrade? im a noob but im learning

With the 3.5, the best hp gains have been seen through a free flowing intake, headers (by eliminating the restriction of the pre-cats and multiple bends of the OEM y-pipe), and a good cat back exhaust.

The other mods that will enhance your driving experience are in the suspension department. Get a strut tower bar to help reduce front end roll. Then get either coil overs, or a quality set of struts/shocks/springs. You can also get a rear sway bar to help firm up the rear end.
