Gettin some new wheels

Ok I'm plannin on buying a new set of wheels in the next few days.I have deceided on the 5zigen Pro racer GN+ wheel. I'm gonna run the 17x8.5 in the front +22 and a 17x9.5 +38 rear.I'm plannin on doin the z32 brakes at the same time. Does anyone know if the spokes have enough clearance for the z32 calipers? I don't want to run a spacer Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

They are brand new. I haven't had a chance to see them in real life. Wheel backspacing is what you have to take into consideration for clearing Z32 calipers. A wheel could have a 0 offset and not clear, whereas, I have +40 offset wheels that clear with 5mm to spare.

Call 5zigen directly, try to talk to Alex, or someone that knows 240's. Ask them/him if they will clear Z32's. He has Rotora brakes on his car, which are pretty close (actually smaller) than z32's. They should be able to tell you.

post pics when you get them please, I want to see what they look like on a 240. I was thinking about picking up a set.

Yeah I'm gonna call them tomorrow morning and ask them what they think. I looked on their fit page and they same wheel fits the 300zx so it should clear the calipers. I found a place that is selling the set of wheels for $968 plus shipping.I think I gonna stagger the tire size.I'll post a pic when I get em

Ok good news.Alex @ 5zigen said they would clear the z32 calipers no problem.Now I just have to wait for them to check their stock and see if the have any that aren't spoken for.Sweeeeet

Like I said, post pics, I want to see how much backspacing they have with those brakes.

I will.I just got another email from alex.He says the 17x9.5's are in stock,but the 17x8.5's are on backorder:mad:

on S14, 9.5's might fit up front. I have S13 and I can't confirm that though.

Yeah it looks like there's gonna be a wait for the fronts like a month or so. If I have to wait for some wheels then I'm gonna go with gramlights gold 57C ,their close to the same price. Gonna go with the same size and offset configuration.
