Gettin a new engine, finally!

I finally am able to get a new motor. The shop that is doing the swap for me ordered a rebuilt ka24e for me. 3 year warrantee. The total including labor will be $2200 plus tax. I can't wait to have her back. I wish I was able to go sr, but I don't have an engine hoist, and I need a reliable vehicle fast so I am able to go to school and work.

i agree. the next best thing to an sr is a turbo truck motor. ;]

I have the money for the new engine, but not much more than that. I have about 3,000 in the bank that I saved up. Most of that is going towards the new engine, and the rest to new suspension. I've done quite a bit of work on it. I did all new speakers, a cd deck, new clutch, ps pump and high pressure line, and a new waterpump since I first bought it about 2 months ago. I'm happy that I'll have a fresh engine with a good warrantee. I don't think I want a turbo cuz I want a reliable ride, but at the same time I want to autocross it, which is why I am buying new suspension witht he money I got left

you can turbo the KA reliably if you know what you are doing and do it smart.
