That is a glimmer of hope in what seems to be a continuous stream of just awful news. If nothing else there will be plenty of work when things settle down. The Japanese people will be back up and running soon. I sincerely hope so at least.

These are wrapped in a protective film referred to as PGF tape. It is a white plastic protective film that does not use adhesives but protects from transit hazards. Below are a few pictures in better conditions.

As an amateur photographer I find this image moving. This will be one of the images that sticks with me for some time.
