I say yes for VDC! because it's awesome!

here's some info about it:

Traction Control System (TCS)

•TCS is standard on the 3.5SE.

•The traction control system reduces torque to the drive wheels by altering injector pulse and controlling the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) motor. If necessary, the brakes are also pulsed via the ABS control unit and hydraulic unit to reduce slipping.

–For injector pulse and ETC functions, the ECM receives wheel slip information from the ABS control unit through the Controller Area Network (CAN) bus.

TCS operates at all speeds and limits drive-wheel slip (wheel spin) under most conditions, improving driver control of the vehicle in slippery conditions as well as on dry surfaces if throttle is over-applied.

Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)

•The VDC system is optional only on the 3.5SE. The system integrates ABS and TCS with additional cornering controls.

•The VDC control functions (integrated into the ABS control unit) monitor the input from steering wheel angle, vehicle speed, wheel speed, G-force and yaw rate.

•When vehicle stability is affected by road conditions or the need to make an emergency maneuver, the system helps to maintain optimum speed at each wheel.

•The system controls engine output by reducing fuel and throttle opening, and provides individual braking control for each wheel to reduce or prevent skidding.

VDC changes engine power and/or applies the brakes individually as necessary to help stabilize the vehicle in severe turning situations. VDC helps enhance performance in emergency avoidance maneuvers, helps improve vehicle directional stability, and helps provide improved control even on slippery road surfaces.

Hey lox,You won't regret getting VDC. Most of the time it's transparent, and you'll think you're a better driver that you are are. This system is almost idiot-proof in assisting you to keep the car going where it's pointed.

What you might notice is the TCS when you try to leave rubber in a hard turn, it'll turn down your transmission until there's less slip, freaky the 1st time, you'll think your car is fisnished. The VDC comes with the TCS on my 3.5 sedan and I expect on the 3.5 A/C.

You gonna luv your wheels...I sure do.

BTW I wish you well for a speedy return home. Stay safe, y'all. The Wino

If you're still uncertain about the VDC when you get back try driving a truck with it (Frontier). make some sharp turns with it on and again with it off. you will notice the difference.

I had VDC on my Titan and on ice it was really appreciated.

Clipped a curb once and the *** end started to come around, then VDC kicked in. It throttled the engine back, applied the brakes on the front left tire and killed that slide right there.

VDC is not bad in the summer...

winter its honestly average, if you step on the gas hard, the VDC is suppose to keep ur car goin striaght, but instead, it goes left/right depending how hard u step on it or how slippery it is

keep in mind, the A/C is front wheel drive, and it doesnt make a big difference to me

but its better to get it now, or u wont be able to install it afterwards (atleast not cheap)

Just out of curiosity, what is the price of a fully loaded A/C (including Navi) with an employee discount?
