I've searched the archives for seafoam, read the article by Thor when I was searching for cleaning the engine/fuel injectors and such.

Anyways, we have NAPA here in Canada, its owned by the US Napa BUT, they look at me as if I got 7 heads when I ask for Seafoam.

I told them that NAPA in the States sells it, that can't help me.

If anyone can tell me the size of the bottle you get (350 ml? etc), a general price paid, and if it states something like...for example "Seafoam, the Engine Restoration in a Bottle" or some gig like that on the label.

I've gone through 3 people at the store and they have no clue what it is. Even when they called the main warehouse they want more specifics so they can find it.

The archives turn up no such information.

Thanks,

lbrowne

hehe thanks for the advice, but I was hoping to get it quicker. I think if I can give them a few more specifics they could get it for me.

It could just be those six extra heads, I wasn't going to say anything but since you brought it up.Have you tried looking on the net for the product? Is Seafoam the company name or just the product name, do we know the company's name?

If it is in a white metak type can with red writing then you have the stuff. You can also sometimes find it in gas stations. Depending on your location in Canada, if your near Detroit, you can pick it up at a Speedway station in the states. If you have any of the Couche-Tard stores in your area, I would be surprised if they didn't have it.

Regarding SeaFoam sales in Canada, I direct your attention to a quote from FAQ forum

* Where can I get Seafoam?

Seafoam has been spotted in the US at Napa, O'Reillys, Farm & Fleet and Fleet-Farm as well as some outboard motor dealers. It appears that Seafoam is only available in the US. It's not available in Canada because the label doesn't meet requirements (no French).------------------------------------

Websites selling/discussing SeaFoam:

SeaFoam Website

USA Hardware

Montana Jack's ATV Outpost and Supply

Yeah NAPA called me back today and told me theres no way they can get it for me. So I guess I'll have to order it online.

EDIT: so basically this is what i want right? and i should order maybe 3 cans of it?

That's the stuff.

I'd buy 3 cans - 1 in gas tank, 1 for the oil, 1 through the intake.

Don't listen to him, he's 2/3rd's wrong. 1 can in the oil is to much and 1 can in the intake also is to much.

Read the instructions on the can.
