I cant stand the attitudes of Chrysler's new chiefs. They blatantly insulted Americans in their previous new-Chrysler slogan "Dreamed in America. Engineered in Germany" which implies "Yeah, you guys came up with the ideas, but it took us crazy Germans to build it!"
Yeah, Wolfgang and Dieter apparently havent owned their S-classes long enough to deal with the awful software and electrical problems associated with their wonderful German engineering. They apparently havent noticed that the Mercedes brand slipped below Chrysler on problems and overall customer satisfaction. Maybe they havent been locked inside a 7-series lately?
I could see Toyota getting away with such a campaign, but DaimlerChrysler? Give me a fukking break.
Man, that was one hell of a diversion. I meant to just show you this link:

Vinyl tops are a big deal here on American sedans and luxury coupes. You see them on Grand Marquis' and Devilles frequently, and I think they look good. It might look stupid on a Lincoln LS, Town Car, Chrysler LHS, or Q45, but on traditionally designed American cars that remind us of luxury carriages, they seem fitting.
