Who or what is Iggee? Where can I locate him or whatever?j.hardstyle wrote:Theres always iggee...but they are synthetic leather. Havent tried them but people swear by fitment on other forums.

Thanks for the input. I will have these installed by a local shop, just don't want to mess with it. The local guy here told me the same thing about the foam, I guess they only come with 1/4", which isn't enough. They look good. Were your seats from the guys out of Houston, do you recall?k_scheeringa wrote:I used a set of the e-bay ones on my 300zx and the quality was actually quite good.. Fit was almost perfect..
I opted for the fake leather, but it's tough enough that its actually hard to cut with a sharp exact o knife..
He matched the logo on the seat back from a photo i sent him for a little extra ($40 i think)..
Yes these came out of china.. There was a fair bit of work involved, but i also had to rebuild some of the seat foam..

Took your advice; had a local upholstery shop install the seat covers, etc.. The guys were shocked; 100% leather, probably water buffalo, but they look good. I'll post some pics later, but I can't even b****, the price/quality is awesome vs the estimates I had from locals.elwesso wrote:at $500 + the time to install correctly (which is NOT easy at all!) I'd say it'd probably be better to have an upholstery shop do it to save time and make sure the fit and finish is perfect.
Nice! real leather is not cheap! I hope the dye holds up, condition the hell out of it.johnwhitmire64 wrote:Took your advice; had a local upholstery shop install the seat covers, etc.. Was this just for the front? Would you mind posting what it cost for them to install just the seat covers. I'm thinking about have the rear seat covers replaced as they are the worst; hard and the seams on the back cushion by the parcel shelf have separated and cracked. I just dont want to spend too much.johnwhitmire64 wrote:Took your advice; had a local upholstery shop install the seat covers, etc.. Replacement/recycled seats especially black can be had all day for the 1994-1996 Q. Just have to find a junked one. 9 times out of 10 the rear bench is in great shape.SanCarlosQ45 wrote:Was this just for the front? johnwhitmire64 wrote:I had the headliner, door panels, rear tray, carpet, consoles and the front & back seats done; so I don't know how much it cost, just to do the front seats. I can tell you that I'm very pleased with the quality of these. They are real leather. No vinyl anywhere on the seat covers at all. Like I said, even the shop I had install them was impressed with the quality vs price. They did require a minimum of tweaking to install, but they said it was no problem. I'm glad I took the risk!
