I saw this new thing on IOS's site: http://www.trademotion.com/par...=6268.

Does it really work and how?

Yes, it works by keeping battery warm which allows it to put out more amps than when it is ice cold-you must plug the warmer into a electircal outlet {120 volt}in your garage/driveway for it to work. Not sure you really need one unless you are having difficulty starting car on cold mornings.I would get a engine block/oil pan heater{also must be plugged in overnite} before I got a battery warmer in cold climates.

That's cool so basically its less strain for the battery=more battery and longer battery life.

And my sisters 2000 GMC Jimmy has a oil heater which is cool but she never uses it.

Would be cool to have a coolant warmer=less time waiting for the car to heat up. And if some one does invent that then they stole my idea

But I suppose letting the car warm up is good for other componts of the car right?

The $20 price is cheaper than their key chains. Buy one and see if the engine cranks easier on a frigid NY morning.

Engine block heater will warm the entire block and all coolant sitting in the block.....start the car in the morning and have heat available inside the car almost instantly

In Joe I trust because I don't want my engine to explode because of crap off the internet. Not to say all things off the internet are crap but I don't want to risk it.

But that might seem a bit annoying, plugging an unplugging the car from the wall, What if i forget I will have en extension cord folowing me around, how embarrassing.

But I will ask Joe.
