general us skyline talk.....

hey guys im kinda younger, but nonetheless i love skylines.(who doesnt) but i have lots of questions and i have done lots of lookin on this forum. i have found several contradictory things. bein the kinda guy who likes doin all his own work i would like to find an r33 skyline that needs some work. is this at all possible??? any other discussions are more than welcome im all ears. i kno a lot of you have tons of jdm knowledge so anything you have to say would be great....

First of all, you biggest concearn for a project car is going to be cost of replacement parts. It's not going to be easy sourcing parts for a car that was never intended to be sold outside the borders of Japan. And they aren't going to be cheap.

Also, finding a decent shape project car might not be as easy as it sounds. Most likely, if you find one that is in need of repair, it's most likely to have been beaten on, which means the engine may need a good overhaul...again, refer to above statements.

Just keep researching the car and all it's in's and out's.

ya i will continue the research. and ya i hear you on the engine over haul an those kinds of things. ill just keep lookin around an keep readin on here. anyone else that has anythin to add.... go ahead
