well, first I want to know why people are doing an engine swap to the sr20det when for the same amount of money just put a turbo into the ka and BAM more horses than the sr, maybe im wrong, Id like to hear what ppl have to say, cause im not to familiar with the sr, all i know is that in comparing the ka and the sr the ka is more powerful in the long run with a turbo, but the sr already has a turbo in it is why it is more horses, but to do a conversion will cost the same as just getting a custom turbo kit for the ka. next question is, I have a 92 240sx in perfect condition, I just put an apexi N1 exhaust system on it, I am planning to go the turbo route for the ka, so I cant put an intake on the car, so what should I do till I get the money for a turbo($4300) what should I upgrade till then, and how much will these things cost roughly. thanks, looking forward for answers

That would depend what your purpose for the car is. Drag, auto cross, drift. They are all similar, but have their own quirks. Decide on a useage, then brainstorm and see what others have done for their application.

It's _alot_ cheaper to sr swap than ka if you know how to do it yourself.

For 4500 I could swap both our cars.
