General Inquiry, I need help with my TV, advanced help

So anyway the model is Sony KDS-60A3000. The picture went out and now when I turn it on, i get a spark right above where the Door is to replace the lamp...Its outta warranty and I don't wanna drop a bill on a new bulb if its something else....I have no problems ripping the sum a beotch apart, but was wondering if anyone had experience with this...check out the video...seems like a short of some sort huh...I'll buy a new lamp anyway, any thoughts are welcome, or if someone can find me the service manual thanks!
