Has any one updated their H11 Factory Low Beams to a LED H11. Have the Base Model FWD. Will be driving lots of night time driving next few months and since current bulbs are 6+ yr old I want to update then with something brighter.

What has some one installed and how have they preformed ?

I am looking at the : BEAMTECH H11 LED Bulb, 12000LM 50W Fanless In Line.

Read good reviews and youtube videos for the price of $39.00 / pair on amazon :

In my experience, you won't find a reliable set of H11 LED's for much under $200 list. Not to say you can't find bargains, I copped the set of SL1's in the first linked post for $130 on eBay, but good thermal engineering isn't cheap. Your $39 set will probably be fine for high beams, but for low beam use you'll almost certainly be sorry:

I can only tell you my customers' experiences with budget LED brands have been uniformly dismal. Some last a year or even two, some fail in weeks, but long-term reliability is always the issue. That's especially true of "fanless" types, many of which also don't perform as claimed in real-life headlights. The best ones all have ball-bearing or "bearingless magnetic" fans and lots of copper in the core PCB. None of that is cheap.
