Well lets see I just bought a 1989 S13 with 238,XXX miles on it. The motor was knocking when I bought it and I tired to drive it about 25 miles back to the house. Needless to say 15 miles into it the motor blows sending a rod through the stock ka24e. No biggie I call a buddy and we tow her the rest of the way home. Once I got her home the fun began. The previous owner was a dumb a** and bondo the marker lights up along with the trim lines in the door. That wouldn't have been so bad if he would have at least sanded the paint before putting bondo on. I also found that he jacked the car up under the fender not the frame. . The frame is decent condition with small spots of surface rust. The passenger floor panel has a rust hole about the size of a softball, but that will be easy to fix. The driver side tower has rust issues as well ( see pic ) that will be a lot harder to fix. This car has a lot of potential but it also has a lot of problems that I have to get fixed first. My plan is the do a ka24de-t swap once find a motor. Alot of this is going to be difficult being i don't have access to a garage and I'm doing all the work on a dirt driveway, but such is life. I'll be updating this thread weekly on my progress
