Gears

I have a 95 Autotragic Maxima. I've been having a little trouble with this so if u guys could help it would be great.When i accelerate there is a jerking between gears. It is most apparent in the first and 2nd gears. am i just pushing it to hard? or could it be the clutch box?

My recommendation would be to check the fluid level...sound like it might be low. Is this a problem you have at partial throttle/wide open/both? It could be that you have a problem with the drop resistor.

It usually happens all the time both at partial and full, but it seems to be more apparent during high to full. havent had time to check the ATF.

you need to check the atf level you may just need to add a little bit. but also when you are checking it also look at the color. it should be a nice red, some times the atf after a long time of being in the car it will get a bit dark. then you may need a transmission flush and filter change.
