ok i'm trying to go for the inexpensive route for 2 gauges. 1 is for oil pressure and the other is for water temp. Anyone found gauges that had the senders at 1/8bspt? Looking to spend less than $100 total.

Eventhough autometer isnt jdm drift spec, i use those cause they are simple and clean, and decently priced and accurate.

I used Autometers on my last RB car too, seemed to work fine and I really like the way the Ultra-Lite series looks.

ditto, its all about accuracy and i think autometer does a good job. Avoid autozone guages at all cost the only thing they are good for is the sensors...

I've got the megan racing gauges. Oil pressure, and Oil Temp, Oil temp has a sensor. Oil pressure has a Sending unit and they're both purely electric gauges. They sweep over when you turn them on, its pretty cool, and they work for me.

thats exactly what i'm looking for. will the sender pop right into the factory oil press sensor spot. When you say megan racing. do you mean the ones from ebay. If possible can you guys post up some examples by links.

hey man, sorry I hadn't talked to you in a long time.

The autometer adapter will not work for the electric sendor on the autometer temp senser. The sensor won't fit down the middle of it. That is why I had to gut the stock sender and replace the guts with the autometer. My buddy with an SR just drilled a new hole and tapped it with NPT fitting and used the autometer. The other option is to just get an inline adapter and splice your radiator hose.

for oil, I would recommend buying whatever gauge you can get that comes BSPT, because the adapters tend to break/crack due to vibration. or buy one of the oil filter block adapters (or relocation kit that comes with them) and you can get them with 2 NPT ports.

If you are willing to risk it, you can get an adapter from courtesypartshttp://www.courtesyparts.com/M..._Code=

Good luck. I am going to get an oil cooler that comes with a relocation kit and has two NPT ports.

i have used the tees before, but i didnt screw it into the engine. i took a short steel braded line screwed it into the engine then i screwed the tee to the steel line, then i straped the tee to the fire wall. i did this so it wouldn't stick 2-3 inches off the block, becuse i have seen severall cases where the weight of the sending unit broke the tee.
