Gear won't go into reverse!

This may sound weird but, my gear won't go into reverse. I never have this problem before my front end collision. Also, when I came to a complete stop and pulled out of 5th to 1st, it wouldn't get out of 5th, but that only happened once. What I can do to fix this or is my transmission gone. Maybe I can treat myself to a new transmission with a new engine (sr20det) that goes with it, hahahaha.

yea, just get a new motor. don't worry about tryin to fix that one. it may be a simple one (who knows) but at least you'll never know. you won't care, you'll be boostin w/ a sr20

i sometimes have the same problem with my s13 it wont let me go into reverse so i just take my fott off the clucth put it back in and keep tryign and it eventually works!

I tried letting my clutch out and put back in, and it still didn't work. Thanks though. It was so embarrasing when my gear didn't go in, I was at the dealership to get an estimate for my damage and when I was about to leave, I couldn't back up, so I had to push my car back then just drive it like normal. Do you guys have any other suggestions?

Yeah, bright yellow, easy target for cops too. But when I get pull over, I use the lines "I just move here from Cali" for driving too fast (still has California license to prove it). "I couldn't drive a stick" for burning out for some odd reasons.
