Anyone have any suggestions about getting gear assemblies, Where, who, how much? Not the whole transmission, just the guts. Looking for durability, same torque, lower RPM at cruising speed. Thanx

Twin turbo 300zx's have rear gears like 3.40 or something compared to 240's 4.083. Not transmission parts but something. It would probably really mess stuff up though. Maybe a different set of tires with a taller sidewall... i know stupid but...

if you want durability there are a few things at http://www.nismoparts.com (like a brass drive gear) that could really help out if you abuse the car a little... make sure you click on accesories in the top right hand side FIRST. Otherwise youll get lost on some stupid altima page.
