I have a new manual 2.5 coupe which I love very much.
Unfortunately, the gear shifter is, for lack of a better word... "crunchy." It's not smooth or refined like the rest of the car.
The first gear's the worst, the second's the second worst, and the others are all smooth. Sometimes you have to give it a bit of a shove to get it in first gear. Putting it in second is sometimes crunchy, like I don't have the clutch all the way down when really I do. Also, I can also feel transmission vibration through the stick.
Is this normal? Just the unfortunate way they're made? Someone told me about a review that blasted Nissan for that very thing. Yet in all the other reviews, no one mentions it.
So I'm wondering, is this a known issue, or should I ask that it be fixed?
