Gear oil?

93 240sx se 5spd manual,need to do gear oil, got some royal purple 75w90. will this gear fluid be okay for the transmission until i can find the redline mt90?

The RP is more than fine.

As much as I am not a fan of RP, assuming it is the GL4, it is in fact the correct oil for the transmission. I use it myself. You want a gear oil that specifically states "safe for yellow metals". Newer GL5's tend to have stronger concentrations of certain detergents that deteriorate the brass rings in the transmission.
