as much as it takes. open the top plug, and fill thru the shifter until it comes out the hole. it is just over 2 quarts

The best is to fill the transmission with a cheap ($6) plastic hand pump with the car sitting level. I tried squeezing thick transmission fluid through a rubber hose from the bottle and I haven't had a tougher forearm workout since. ...and keep your dirty little minds out of the gutter.

I'ma show u gangsters a nice trick that I was shown.. Darius you're gonna love this.

I made it for filling my diff but it works on trans just as nice. Less than $20 to build at Lowes/Home Depot/etc, and it'll take you less than a minute to fill your diff or trans up once you get the plugs out. Enjoy!

Edit: Some of you guys need to read the FSM more, and learn to work the search on here.. Not like we've never discussed oil varieties and fill capacities!!!

Easier way, remove your shift boot, shifter, get a big funnel and pour it right in your shifter hole. Fast and easy. Just don't spill on your seats...
