Gear Light Stays On - Drains Battery

My 2011 QX56 has been losing battery power and failing to start. I noticed the Park gear light remains on even when the car is off. Do I need to change a fuse? I can’t tell which one.

I don't think a fuse is the issue, probably something wrong with the gear selector/shifter

Do you mean the little led diode next to the shifter ?
