good lord tell me i wasn't sent a 300zx ecu......i've been searching around lately just for ****s and giggles to identify my ecu and came up with early model 300zx results, if this is true what options do i have as far as running my s1 rb25det...... if any

thread jacked! anyway 'nother question:if this is a vg30dett ecu then why does my rb harness male fit? i took the ecu and harness off when i got the engine. what series rb ecu are you selling StricNyne?

Nissan used alot of interchangable connectors.

The GCZ32-502964 number is the Japanese VIN from the donor car.

Built 09/89 in Aztec Red (Code AG2) with grey interior (Code G).

You got took on the ECU portion....

Buy StricNyne's Power FC and call it a day!

Try selling that ecu on twinturbo.net or ebay.

Just make sure you mention its from a jspec and give the info that JonPowell provided.

someone could probably use it as a core for a reprogrammed ecu.

you can run a rb25det on a vg30dett ecu. Mine is running now with a vg30dett ecu. Cjex

i thought i had seen something somewhere about powering a rb with a vg but what if anything was done to the ecu to allow this?

Well at the very least you would need the rom reprogrammed for your rb motor.
