GC Clunk

couldnt find a "clunk" thread pertainig to gc so pls help.

installed a gc for s13 and whenever i turn front left clunks.(1)strut mounts problem?left front needs to be replaced.could the car still be drivable? (2)also the gc came with aluminum top hats, would this add to the problem? (3)the rear hats were installed in the front n the fronts were to the backs, would that be an additionaly problem?!thanks for your time.

I think you mean the upper spring perch, not strut hat...but I'm pretty sure the f & r are exactly the same. If not, that's likely you're problem. FWIW, I've been riding on the GC's for some time now and have yet to hear any clunking.

Check spring pre-tension and retorque your bolts.

Also tighten the tension rod bolts down
