How much do they cost? I picture the quality being terrible, and I imagine they would be unsafe in an accident.

They could snap in half in an accident.

if you want race seats get real race seats, these "race looking" seats are for the ricers, if it doesn't have a SFI rating, pass it up

Mate, if they are complied for your country - i.e LEGAL!, and therefore crash tested at mounting points and frame, then safety shouldn't be an issue. If replacement seats aren't tested or an issue with your local roadworthy inspections, then I wouldn't go there. They look OK tho. What is the cover made from? If its vinyl, no way, but leather would be OK, ready for a decent harness too it appears. Is it made for the Zed? And is it Nismo, or Chinismo? The factory seats are pretty old now, and were never that great. I have a tentative yay vote for them, but personally, I would fit Recaro, like the ones in the 96-98 JDM cars. Looking for a pair now!

I don't imagine they would be safe in an accident. I'd stay away.

There are only a few things I would cheap out on, and seats are not one of them.

He WAS looking for seat covers, found these SEATS instead, if they're DOT cert. then they sould be alright.

I personally wouldn't use them on the track or strip, just street they might be ok though.

Some "cheap" parts aren't actually that bad for the Z..but hey you won't know if you don't ask right?

I've actually seen those same seats in an rb swapped s13 in my area. Guy got it with them, did a little research and turned out they weren't legal, let alone comfortable. Seems like you could feel all the metal support with just the weight of your body.
