Hey this is to CA guys only. My brother is a computer game designer and has some extra time on his hands and wants to do a website for me for my cars (even though they are not that nice). I thought maybe you CA guys might like a place to post some really nice pics of your cars, with your name, list of mods, and contact info if you want. This is to see how many people might like to send my brother some pics. If nobody wants to do it then I guess I will post my ugly car up there all on its own. Again CA guys only. If it has a CA in it then let me know. He wants a pic of the motor and a nice pic of the car with your list of mods and contact info. This is just an idea right now and just want to see who might be interested.

I would do it, my motor looks pretty nice, cars alright. Dropped on coilovers.

If you want a CA S14 on there I'm down for it in a few weeks. Would like to get my sideskirts on and finish the paint first though.

You know I really don't know what it is going to be. My brother knows I am always installing stereos or messing up my car so he wanted to hook me up with a website. He is joining the Airforce soon and has some extra time on his hands right now. So since I don't believe my car is really website worthy and I figured some of yours definately were I just guessed that some of you guys would like to have a place to have your cars posted. This way hopefully if a google search or some other type of search is done then there will be another hit on CA's. I know there aren't too many places for CA guys to go to but at least this site would have a dedicated section to just you guys who have done the work to put that CA in there. He has already started on it so I will let you guys know who are interested when he will need some good pics. Also when he is ready for those of you who want he can also put up your contact information if you might have a business or something else like that.

If you guys might have other ideas about this website let me know so we can try and incorporate that into the website as well.

Thanks guys.

A resourceful site with ca into 240 information, (STICKIES) per say, that gives every modern number for parts, which starter to use, blah blah blah, contributed by the "members" on the site. Not a forum or anything, just a VERY organized list of useful information. NO BS, chit chat.

Kinda like ca18det.org only instead of just one car, all of ours accumulated, for others to get a feel for what can be done. Also, dyno sheets, mod lists of individual users with contact info as previously stated would be cool.

Hope this helps,

That sounds good. He is still working on the opening page animation. So once the site gets a little further along I will be asking for all that information so he can get it all organized. Hopefully this all goes through and with him going into the Air Force I might need this info in a hurry as I won't be updating it he will.

Sounds like a good plan, and I will need all you guys who are the experts to help me get all the pertinent information together as I dont' have to worry about part numbers as much as you guys do because here in Germany I can still go to nissan and get any part I need for the CA.

I will let you guys know when he is ready.

I thought I would post an update to this thread. My brother is pretty much finished but the server we paid didn't start the site on time so it will be a few more weeks. I will be asking for all the info that you guys would like to post on the website a couple of weeks after he is done with basic training. It is definately in the works and hopefully we will be able to make another CA website (with a couple of other things on it). Although my CA is giving me a headache. It was at the mechanics for two days and they couldn't figure out the problem either. It might be time to scrap my CA project and find another one that runs (luckily the CA is stock here ).

However I still love the CA motor and the S13 so I will still be pushing my brother to get this site going for all of us who still use the CA as the heart of our cars.

Anything that anybody gives me or gives me permission to use will DEFINATELY get credit for their work. I suck as a mechanic (reason why my CA still won't idle when warm) so all of you who put hard work into getting your CA's up and willing to share your knowledge will and should always get the credit they deserve.

Would also be cool to see a CA swap guide. I see alot on the SR that guides you through the process but people to new to nissan that dont know the basics and want to learn on thier own and do it hands on. This sounds like an awsome idea. Hope this site is made

It has at least been paid for so we can get it started. As soon as the little brother is out of air force basic training the work will be started again. I would like to put up all the info I can on this website but me myself am pretty terrible when it comes to the intricate stuff of the CA. I will be relying heavily on the knowledge of those on this site to contribute if they are willing. Again I am wanting to get this site up but it will take my brothers computer gaming degree to get it up for me.

Somebody would also have to do the swap guide if they want because the CA's are stock here in Germany.

I actually used the Heavy Throttle SR install guide to get my CA in. A little trouble shooting from Dee, Sean, Ryan, Kevin (I miss that guy), Rafi, and Chris, and it was all good. I guess someone could adapt the wiring How To to include knock sensor and O2 sensor wiring as those are common CA problems...

o2 sensor wire is the left over 2 wires in the big plug, the one of the 3 by the battery that you cut off. the white one is signal, teh black is the ground/sheilding.

whats the problem with the o2 sensor? i didnt have a problem.
