OK, guys, I've been talking with Invidia, and I need to gather some interest to push the R&D team in order for them to make some parts for our cars.

We're in the talks of a catback exhaust sytem for our Altima Coupe's, they make excellent exhausts, and no doubt the quality will be great.

I need to gather interest, and potential buyers. SO PLEASE VOTE!

There was also a brief discussion on how the y-pipe might be replaced as well.

(regarding the y-pipe, 2.5ers have no y-pipe)

and a brief talk on test pipes

Lurkers, come out of your hiding nest and help push for this. Thank you!

well for a few examples of invidia's catback exhausts for the g's and z's, here are 2 links:

and for those people who liked the blue tips on the greddy, but not the shape of the muffler, this will be a nice solution for you all.

and for the ones that dont like the blue tips:

I am looking for the right exhaust right now, and if Invidia is it I would buy it the day it is released.

Have they ever made any thing for Altimas? Will it be the G200 or N1?

Also, I hope they know how competitive the prices are for exhausts for the A/C.

from what i know, they havent, but i have been talking with them for awhile now, and we're still in the beginning stages.

and as for whether it will be the G200 or N1, that will be decided once we get enough interest, and potential buyers i believe, and its upto the head people, then we'll start prototyping on my car. either one will be nice

Ask if they can throw together a rough version of the G2000 and N1 so they can get input on what people want. It would give a glimpse of it's potential, seeing as how they've never made an exhaust for an Altima, and its hard to get people to hold out for something they know nothing about.

if you're talking design wise, it'll be similar to the links i posted earlier, of course a slightly different, but as in the exhaust tip finished look, it'll be the same

I'd purchase the test pipes/Y-pipes next week if they were available...

I'm not talking about aesthetics, but the sound of the exhaust. Lets face it, most of us want an exhaust for the sound more than anything.

Also, about how much do y pipes cost?

i'll give em a call tomorrow morning first thing, but i'm pretty sure it'll be hard to get a estimate or quote right now. as far as the sounds go, the invidia's all sound nice on the g's and z's, not saying ours will sound like theirs, but you know what i mean

I will purchase that toy the minute it is available. I had an Invidia G200 for my civic SI, great sounding exhaust, excellent quality. Nothing negative to say about it.

I know it won't sound like the Z/G too much, but I think the y pipe would make a big difference in sound.

I did listen to some videos on YT, the N1 sounds a little better imo. Just let them know that most people are looking for something that sounds closest to the Z/G as possible.

It feels like our car is caught between sounding like a V6 Mustang and a Z/G, and I prefer the latter.

Even if I get a different exhaust, I will still definately purchase test pipes because no one has made them for our cars.

Doesn't that throw off the 02 sensors? They get pretty loud, so maybe resonated test pipes are the way to go.

keep em coming, the purpose of this thread is just to see what everyone wants the most. Invidia's biggest chance or first product that will be made would be the catback, the test pipes, y-pipe, and headers, are all just talks, or ideas they are thinking of.
